The Q-See QTN8044D is a commercial grade variable focus camera that can be mounted on a wall, ceiling or on a pendent style pole for fantastic visual deterrence.  It is one of the most versatile cameras available with Super High Definition 4MP resolution in a 16:9 format. The QTN8043B and 8044D are two of our biggest selling cameras for professional enterprise applications.  In a single word – they are “versatile”.

This cameras versatility comes about from the adjustable focal range for field of view control, Wide Dynamic Range, Dynamic Noise Reduction, multi-stream real time transmission and maximum inputs and outputs.  The camera supports the full Q-See feature set including image settings for saturation, brightness, Chroma, contrast, wide dynamic range, noise reduction and sharpening all adjustable through NVR software, client apps or a web browser.

With support for H.265 the storage requirements are also minimized and are typically half of the H.264 requirement.

This camera has a 4.0 MP 8139+OV4689 OV sensor, records in the more modern 16:9 format and has 3D DNR, digital WDR and ROI coding.  The 3.3 to 12mm varifocal lens allows for the field of view to be adjusted from 38° to 80° so that the 4MP video capture can be directed exactly as required.

The extensive inputs and outputs of this camera include microphone in and out (please consider national, state and territory laws regarding audio surveillance before attaching a microphone), CVBS Analog camera output (via standard BNC) for Analog DVR connection and/or local configuration, 1x channel Alarm sensor input, 1x channel Alarm Sensor output and RS485 for PTZ controls.  With built in Web Server and Compact Flash support up to 64GB this camera can operate stand alone without a NVR.

The QTN8044D camera has the highest possible Vandal Proof / Impact Proof Rating possible (IK10) and has recessed allen key access bolts for installation making removal and tamper very difficult.  Ideal for public areas.

Detect if the stable part of a scene permanently changes with adjustable time sensitivities

Alert on camera blur detection through fogging, deliberate smearing or otherwise.

Alert on motion within a multipoint area to detect movement through a window or an area that is out of bounds etc.

Provides alerts when objects (usually people) cross a line in either one direction, the other or both.

Detect when an object has been added or removed from a scene. Great for lost item recovery.

Area intrusion detection function for alerts when part of a specific scene region is used as an entry or exit point. Ideal for FireDoor alerts etc.

Detect if a camera is tampered through changed field of view, with masking, blocking, physical damage etc
